Keto Energy Balls

Makes 12 balls, 4 servings

Ingredients

1/4 cup red walnuts

2 tbsp hemp seeds

1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup macadamia nuts

1 tbsp almond butter

1 tbsp coconut butter

1 packet Four Sigmatic Adaptogen Coffee

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until ingredients start to stick together, about 10-15 seconds. It's important not to pulse for too long or your mixture will become more liquid and be hard to roll. Roll into 1/2 inch balls and store in the refrigerator. Pop one when you need a little extra boost!

Additional Nutrition Info

• Pumpkin seeds are a great source of iron which can help boost energy levels in athletes, especially females that may be low in iron.

• Hemp seeds and walnuts are loaded with omega 3's which help decrease inflammation.

•These little energy balls will help stabilize your blood sugar and if you are following a ketogenic diet, they are perfect for an on the go snack. The more fat adapted your body becomes, the easier it is to utilize fat for fuel. Even if you aren't on a keto diet, having a higher fat snack can actually help balance hormones and decrease cravings.
